I have lots of pictures to share with you all, once I'm home from the sapphire mine in a few more weeks.
I need to shrink about 1,800 shots, so they fit the G.O format, and will do so when I catch my breath.lol
We have now been mining for 8 weeks, but so many other things came into play this trip, that haven't actually shifted the amount of dirt we were hopeing to.
Heavy rain has now caused a lot of collapse of the open pits, so a few days sun is going to be needed to get a little dry again.
The plan is to be back again by end of October, and will see how the summer goes this year.
Last 2015/2016 one was the hottest ever experienced here, but a switch back to El Nino conditions may make the upcoming one wetter, and a little cooler.

We had about 50mm here in Gladstone but I hear there was a lot more out west.
