The last development on this that I was aware of:
24 individual crystals found at Khet Chal, Molo, Momeik, Mogok, Myanmar
All bought by the one dealer, available for purchase Tucson 2007.
I purchased one of these 24 crystals for a large price. Very different to the pezzotaite from Madagascar. Thin, tabular and showing strong colour banding on a1,a2,a3 axes.
Interesting geologically speaking but this is not a commercial production of the gemstone, just a freak pocket. And no one I have met yet has seen or sold and of the material that was supposed to have come from Kunar.
