Tim, this is a good one!

Alberto,

Instead of using their painting services, I will save money by going to the art store down the block and buy some glass paint! It will still be cheaper than the shipping fee anyway or as an alternative there is the good old Swarovski crystals (they come in lot of colors)....

Happy New Year to both of you!!

:?: contact before placing a bid? to have your diamond "painted," pay a fee, sign a consent form-the darker your diamond (darker?), "the darker your result will be and possibly a different shade of color." :?

Wonder why...

BUT BUT You get a discount if you send 10 or more carats. That's right, send 10 or MORE carats.

If you look you will notice that almost all the buyers are very low in feedback numbers. Many of the different buyers have strangely similar feedback design styles. Hmmm.

DO NOT BID ON THIS AUCTION!!! READ THIS AND THEN CONTACT US

Alarm bells going off so loud it is hard to read the rest of the ad. At least, this should make it easy for ebay to be interested in removing this listing - after all, it gets them no revenue.

But, if you are not suposed to bid on this "service", how come they have sold 100 units (all over 4 days and private)?

By the way, on feedbacks, the seller threatens to call the police on a buyer (who complained of bootleg CDs) and calls another a liar. How nice.

So, coating of some sort?

As I understand it, they ask not to bid on the auction because the price of the service they are offering varies and it is not until you formalize the number and size of diamonds you are interested in having "treated" that the final price will be known.

It appears as though they are in the business of clarity enhancing an coating diamonds.

The GIA would not want their alumni logo used in this context.
They wouldn't even let me use it when I made the website for the GIAs Golden Gate Alumni Members.
I'll bring it to their attention.
