I'm almost certain it is a fake. The guy selling is the GIA student getting ready to take his colored stone exam. I questioned him on his other listing - this 60 ct. topaz that he claims is untreated. He told me that as an almost GG he is sure the stone is untreated. He said it was sent in to GIA for a report because today's society is so untrusting. I told him that I'm not a gemologist, but his neon blue topaz is 100% a neutron irradiated stone. Natural blue topaz is very rare and very pale in color. His response( you can't make this up this up)- If you buy the stone before the report comes back I will throw in a natural untreated orange sapphire-no charge. Anyway back to the ring -I was outbid at $125. and I might put one more strong bid in tomorrow before it ends. The other Nick is right- you got some real dummies bidding on ebay.

Isi-I think I'm going to pass on this and the genuine Tiff. & Co. ring. He did send me another Ebay message. Even if the topaz happens to come back as treated -you are still getting a great deal since the orange sapphire is valued at $6-8000. I hope whoever winds up with the ring realizes he doesn't accept returns.
went after more of that delicious citrine after receiving the last lots. One veil will split the big amy in two, no other visible flaws. Some zoning on the citrine but only on 2 pcs. For quartz IMO a pretty good deal off ebay. I guess the igno's were on spring break or something.
Oh, I did facet a big SRB from the citrine and the wife snatched it right up for a pendant. "Plumeria" 10mm Its IF, with a few tiny places that didnt clean up on some pav facets, first stone polished on my new Darkside with cerium oxide powder.
