Hi everyone:) I found some relly nice 2 pairs citrine carved pears on ebay that i like to make earrings, and wanted to know your opinion. I was concerned about are those citrines natural, lab grown, heated amethysts or dyed chalcedony, so i asked the seller and he said its "all natural and he provides a certificate'' witch is probably him stating its"all natural":). Could anyone say smthing about nature of these stones, treatments if any? If natural citrine, price seams low to me for such a intense color. thx a lot:)) http://m.ebay.com/itm/253046545639?_trkparms=pageci%3Acbe2ee0d-6b97-11e7-8497-74dbd1801e7e%7Cparentrq%3A54ef02c215d0a860043a7ecbffe19d4f%7Ciid%3A11&_mwBanner=1

OK, my first question is "certified" by whom?
Almost all citrine is heat treated amethyst.....a very large percentage of amethyst is synthetically made.
This is what he said in email: "We will provide certificates for all the items. These carvings are 100% natural and are of top quality." As i said, i guess he writes certificates in free time:).. Unfortunately i think a valid certificate would cost like a stone... So i guess its not worth risking buying it...
