Unusual and probably not real.

Bixbite only came from the WAH WAH mountains of Utah. I have a very small piece.

I've seen several pieces of Utah Bixbite on ebay at over l ct sizes. My study of the Bixbite mine in Utah said that you were lucky to get a .50ct size. The mine never produced any large sizes.

So how does someone in Thailand end up with all this bixbite they are now selling in 1 ct plus sizes.? Smells like rotten fish to me. I'd bet they are just included light colored rubies, nothing more, nothing less.

JTV obviously doesn't have a sterling reputation but in this case i have to stick up for them. The average bixbite in this bracelet is around 0.43 ct. and it seems rather well made. Do you know the price on this Jason?

I searched the JTV site and the piece is no longer there. Apparently it's been sold. But, if memory serves it was over $10k.
