If you are bent on attending Carlsbad then you could consider taking your coursework in India and then doing all 3 labs consecutively in Carlsbad over a 3 week period. Obviously the best education you can get would be to go for their 6 month on campus program. If you are willing to travel great distances then I would consider AIGS instead. You would be at the heart of the colored stone gem trade.

AIGS is less recognized in America for sure. From what I've read I'm inclined to disagree with you on their level of education, particularly in the colored stone area. Some very renowned gemologists are graduates of AIGS. I'm not trying to discourage GIA as I'm a current GIA student myself.

When you complete these 2 courses then you get a diploma of Graduate Gemologist

Carlsbad course is for 23667$ ( 1550000 Rs) + 130000Rs (living+aur tickets+ )
Total =2800000 approx

Hongkong - 2300000 (total)
Bangkok - 1700000 ( total )

Same course from delhi - 700000 Rs

No difference in education

My brothers advice me to do the course from carlsbad
For gaining more exposure

i have a jewellery background and i am planning to join GIA ...i do have GIA classes in Delhi but since i want to gain new exposure and imcrease my networking in this field ..so my brother advised me to do it outside India...this will help me to understand a new market
I have herd that GIA is best in Carlsbad but it is tooo expensive....at present i am very confused as to what to doo....
But my brother adviced me to do the course from one place as it takes time for gaining exposure and networking in this field

i thought of doing the coloured stones course from delhi and diamonds from carlsbad and total estimate including livings comes 1400000Rs

But again diamonds course is only 45 days is going USA for 45 days will be enough ?1. INDIA: like
