I am now taking a eLearning course through GIA that requires a proctor for the final. Where do I find a proctor? I live on the border of texas and arkansas, I do not have the funds to go to the campus for both the proctor and the lab. I would be really thankful for any helpful advise.

You should have no problem: Your pastor/minister/rabbi/priest can proctor; your local librarian can proctor; local teachers can proctor. There may be more, but I can't think of them. Others can probably add to the list.

It's been a number of years since I used a proctor, but iirc, I gave the name, occupation, and address of my prospective proctor to GIA and they sent the test material to him/her. After you finish the test (or time is up, whichever comes first), the proctor signs off on it and mails everything back to GIA.
You should contact GIA.

If you contact your assigned primary instructor, I'm sure they will be happy to provide you with all of the details on proctored exams. If you would prefer, feel free to pm me and I would be happy to help as well.
