The lab class is coming up soon and just curious as to what to expect. The description says "The final exam is online, open book and does not require a proctor." Does this mean we can run back to the hotel, log in and take our time with it or is it completed in class? I would love to hear anyone's experiences!
Hello! Are you thinking that the class might be cancelled? So far it seems that it's still on, with covid surveys and requirements and such being sent out. Thank you for your reply!
The last I heard they were still not holding in person Lab Classes at GIA Carlsbad. They still have them scheduled, but cancel them the week before. This has happened to a number of my students this last Month.
That's too bad! I'm in NY state so I should've mentioned that I was referring to the NY lab. It's one week away and we haven't heard anything about cancellation so I've got my fingers crossed! Thank you

Just a thought, have you considered calling the GIA directly and asking them? U.S. Education Carlsbad Call: +1 800 421 7250 ext 4001 Call: +1 760 603 4001 Fax: +1 760 603 4003

Late reply here so I assume that the OP has already completed the lab, however to clarify there are two separate classes. One is the online eLearning Pearl course that has an online final exam. The other is the one day in-person lab class which does not have an online exam. The original post has these a bit mixed up...
