I've had many people ask when there was going to be a Mac version of Gemology Tools Professional. Well, that is not going to happen. But I have tested GT Pro on a laptop that is running Linux. If you load WINE onto a Mac it should run GT Pro. In my tests on my Linux laptop I loaded WINE and ran GT Pro. The good news is that almost everything ran flawlessly. I found only 3 minor problems (see list below).

Pros:
WINE is free.
You DO NOT need a licensed copy of Windows.
Almost everything works normally (see Cons: below for items that do not work). All calculations have been found to be accurate.

Cons:
No videos work. (Minor)
The photo viewers lose their Close button at times. Easy work arounds. (Minor)
The Glossary Find feature doesn’t scroll. (Minor)

PM me if you want more info.
