Hi. My grandma had one beautiful necklace. After her death the necklace is mine. I dont have any idea what is this. She loved ambers. Maybe it's amber, maybe not.

Size of stone - 2cmx1cm, 42cm long, 90g weight, so one stone is about 4,73g

Welcome. I don't think that it is amber. My guess from the picture is dyed quartz. Not real expensive but very attractive. Hard to tell from pictures. Drop into a jeweler for more info.

Some of them show banding which is suggestive of agate. I also agree it's probably dyed--agate does naturally occur in this color range but the way the color is distributed looks wrong.
