Looks like it could be topaz, but without any more information on the stone, one can’t say for sure.
Would be able to say more with an R.I., better pictures, SG, etc.

There has been some new production of dravite (I have heard from Ethiopia, but also that it's from Tanzania) that looks nigh-identical to the smaller crystals there. The bigger crystals look a bit different. We'd need better data to actually identify either.

I really don't see anythif diagnostic there. Where are they from? If I had a sample I could scan it for free but I have a feeling we're not on the same continent.

Yemen? That is very interesting. Topaz would be very weird for color and crystal form (though maybe technically possible), beryl weird for color and crystal form on some stones (though certainly technically possible), tourmaline weird for crystal form on some pieces though less so color. Apatite could imitate any of them to some extent. Bizarre stuff! Wish I could see one in person.

Ahmad4, why don't you send the very smallest bit of your unknown to Stephen or myself.
3-4mm should suffice with a flat side.
Just tape a bit to a letter or greeting card and mail it in a standard envelope. No need for boxes or insurance.

Hi all, I will send a sample to be checked by the Imperial Topaz with anonymous samples to know what they are
But things in Yemen are difficult because of the war. There is no air freight to send to Saudi Arabia for a month and then to America

You can PM me for my address if the opportunity to send it arises. I'd certainly appreciate a chance to identify it for you.
