Terrific! The results are solid.
Ask him for the specific data from standard gemological tests.
Tell him Barbra Voltaire wants to know.

I will have to send the stone back to him. So, maybe a little over a week. Then I'll have the data.

I've heard back from Conny

Hi Barbra,
Where it went wrong from the start regarding the Green Zirkon I do not know.
I checked with microscope for signs of natural origin, went to Raman, did a hydrostatic weighing which confirmed low zirkon as it showed SG of around 4.00 to 4.15.
RI was confirmed OTL for my RI-fluid of 1.8.

Conny

Just as a sidebar, the RI of 1.78 you got was the RI of the RI liquid you were using.

Thank you! Nice to have it comfirmed.
Where any of my other results inconsistent with low zircon?

I am finding references of low zircon RI as low as 1.75, including this one at 1.777...
