 Post subject: What is ADR?

Could someone explain what ADR is? I see it used in conjunction with Sr (single refraction) and DR (double refraction) I know what they are as they are easy to look up in any book. (I use my polarized filter on my refractometer to test for SR or DR) But I'm not finding what ADR is. TIA
