Hi there, I got this diamond that is cut like a brilliant however the table doesn't consist of two squares. It has 9 corners instead of 8. Does this cut have a name or is it just a special cut?

Do a search on facetdiagrams.org for FVS-134 for an example of a round stone with a 9-sided table. Is this what you have (the stable, not the rest of the design)? If so, a 9-sided, round brilliant should be easy enough to design.

I think I found it:
If you follow the lines from corner to corner it goes back to where you started. 9 corners. What a cool stone. I had no luck making a sharp picture showcasing the geometry, have to find the right lighting setup.
Do people charge more for such cuts, is it a high end thing or more of a novelty?
