Perhaps posting a picture might help. The price for a star sapphire is extremely variable. |

I am thinking about purchasing the item from a second hand dealers. I don't want to ask them if I can take a picture. Maybe if I purchase it I can add a photo then. But it won't be until 2 weeks. I really appreciate your fast response. Thank you |

Does the inclusion bother you? Pretty color. What are they asking? |

Hi thanks. I purchased it for US $950. Inclusions don't bother me I don't like anything that isn't natural or enhanced. Cheers |

wouldn't that be cat's eye rather than star? It is a nice stone though - the inclusion gives it character. |

The heaters would love to get their hands on this stone. It would likely heat to a very fine color, and clarity. It would sell for much more money in today's market. At the same time I feel it would be a loss for the gemstone industry. It would be more expensive, but worth less, if you get what I am trying to say. This is the reason you see so less and less great star stones these days. |

Stars are hard to capture on camera if you don't have the right lighting setup. It's probably being pushed to the far corner of the stone so we're mostly seeing the vertical ray, but if you squint you can see hints of the other two. I love the stone, seems like a good price for the ring to me. |

As my coloured stone dealer says, "Nice colour and nice star equals nice price"! |
