Speaking of Sleeping Beauty Turquoise...does anyone know the fair dinkum 'rough' cost per carat today for both 'rough' and fashioned' per carat?
I'm talking here of untreated in any way shape or form, top colour solid material.

I've tried to look it up for a ball park figure, but there's some seriously wild pricing out there.

I remember seeing some really nice sleeping beauty turquoise cabs being offered at US$20 per carat at an HK show a few years back. Not sure where the prices are at nowadays.

Etsy is an eye opener.... like hello!
https://www.etsy.com/au/listing/7083741 ... _active_13

granted, that's on the large side but even the 10ct is attracting $87ct(sorry I'm only seeing these as Aus dollars, you'll probably be able to see them in your currency). Having a look around Etsy..just as well I was sitting down when looking at one or two rough bead necklaces.

like everything it comes back to what it's worth to someone else but genuinely interested in thoughts from within the trade.
