I came across this gem and am attracted to it. The gentleman told me it's a natural pink topaz from Katlang, Pakistan. I'm so new to stones that I really don't know what I'm looking at. Can someone please tell me if this stone is real and what its value is. I'd be so appreciative for the guidance!

Thank you.

The three major producers of pink topaz are:
Brazil
Pakistan
(historically) Sanarka, Russia

A mild heating of some (chrome containing) topaz will drive off the other colors, leaving pink (or sometimes purple).
Stephen has some before an after pictures of topaz he has heated. This treatment is called "pinking" and is I believe undetectable.

The one you have is a very nice pink. I typically don't estimate value, so I will leave that to others.

It does look like a fine katlang topaz. You might want to check if it has been reattached to the matrix. Brazilian stones are found in an ironstone matrix while Katlang stones are in calcite/limestone. Not sure of exact value but that color and clarity will command a handsome sum.
