Can table salt form octahedral faces when crystalising and then have a contact twin form there?
While shopping today I found some packets of pyramid salt, which had the usual hopper shapes that you'ld expect.
But on closer inspection one had a glossy, perfectly equilateral triangle crystal in it, what is even going on here?
