Good day to all

Please help me , i have gem-a refractometer with built-in monochromatic filter , kindly inform with this i can use normal white light torch or i need to use a sodium filter or sodium light source ?

The filter turns white light into monochromatic light, that is its purpose.

I own this refractometer. As 1bwana1 pointed out, it comes with a built in sodium filter. You can back it up to your polariscope if you have one with a front light source.
