One of his books is so 'revered' by the library you can't take it home...see what I did there!

I did however manage to make an item from this massive book and make it my own and gave it to DD1 many many moons ago.

Oh to be 20 to 40 years younger and now have this opportunity at my fingertips... it would have been a game changer for me.

He had a series of 12 videos too...VCR style. I sold them years ago, along with the VCR player.

Was this the book in the library?

Yes, the first book, Barbra!

Oh I say, thanks for the links, Barbra. Bookmarked for a trip down memory lane. Yep, altered the Gallery ring a tad and DD still wears it to this day. It's surprisingly comfortable.

Not on my system Barbra. I'll have a hunt for an actual photo here or will try to remember a pic next time I'm down seeing my daughter.

A very tarnished ring... looks like I have a job when I next visit.
Photo courtesy of DD until I take a glam shot.

Riveted the layers together with Hematite beads wedged between at top and bottom.

thanks Barbra! :smt058
I was a bit worried about the shape gouging into the other fingers but it's surprisingly comfortable.

I had a feel good moment last week. I bumped into a lady who commissioned a Yowah opal pendant many years ago and she still wears it to this day and still gets compliments on it. It was just nice to be told that something I'd made was still bringing her joy.

Great ring mehoose!

I miss the days where I had time to sit at a bench and make new and exciting things...

Cheers Paul!
Yep, can't believe it's around 20 years ago when I made my jewellery items!
I still have quite a few pieces stored away because I found most items sparked a commission piece...always the way  and most often the style of rings I made didn't lend themselves to being altered size wise.
