Wow what a long post and what a lot of I's! Anyways that's great you are so passionate about your work. Hopefully we can see something you've made one day.

Oh forgot to mention this is regarding thinslics's last post. I'm sure that was obvious but just in case!

Hi - I can't claim to have won any awards, but here 3 stones my wife found in Oregon. They were cut in Thailand by Cary Bartholomew and then set here in the states.

and a bacculite set by my son for my wife. He had it in his store for a short while, but we liked it too well. It probably came from either South Dakota or Montana. We found a bunch of them just north of the town she grew up in (Malta, Montana).

Here is a Liddacoatite tourmaline slice my son set (also for my wife)

and a tsavorite with a couple Montana sapphires. (We found the sapphires)

and last a Vietnamese aqua I bought at Tucson last year which Stephen set for my wife. The color is better than the picture.

Awesome thanks for posting! I really love that pendant with the Montana sapphires and Tsvaorite! I love all those cool colors together. It makes it more interesting that you actually found the sapphires too. Really nice!

An interesting post, had to add the wifes daily worn pendent, 1st item put on after wakeup, this is the gem silica, 18.09ct stone cut by Frank Schaffer from his personal rough stash he considers some of his best, the blue is pure & sporatic within the translucent chalcedony material. Cut to order & mounted in simple gold, she calls it 'her stone'- 8)
