This post is in the right area I hope, the emerald pendent was completed by replacing the 2nd stone from the top with a more compatible stone with a closer color match & quality to the other stones. The upper basket was reinforced to hold the stone better when the new stone was installed. The frame was inspected for stress & work was complete. Total ct weight is now 50.88cts, but the pendent has more presence & easier viewing, not zeroing in on the small dark stone that was replaced. A minor in the scheme of things, but part of my presentation-

This is beautiful!
I love emeralds, jade, other green stones, etc. This piece looks like something I'd see at the Metropolitan Museum of Art,...could actually be from a few different eras/ styles, I think.
Am always thinking of changing pieces or rearranging configures. Before the dirt nap does me in, all is up for change or consideration of same. One of the problems in making a necklace as shown is the inventory I dont have. I usually only go after stones I need for a given item I have an idea for. Once in a while I will buy a rare stone if the time is right w/pricing to go with stone. At this time, stones are on the back burner, the dirt nap is a concern-
