Hi Friends,
We were on the mines of aquamarine,tourmaline,topaz and quartz .
Mines are on the way of world second highest mountain k2 near bianca bridge near dassu village in shiger valley.
North of Pakistan is totaly safe.
I am attaching some pics of our mines trip.

Every one can visit mines easy and safely.
From Islamabad to Skardu 45 minuts air travel and then from skardu to mines 4 hour jeeps travel only.We can guide you.

Yikes! I have very little fear of heights by most standards, but my husband is a mountain climber who just has to be part mountain goat. I see him do things like this and have to look away - I keep imagining scraping him off the ground with a spatula, but objectively he's quite safe.

That's really interesting seeing the quartz pegmatites across that granite face..although the trail doesn't look to wide :D ! How deep are the excavations?
