Today we came back from the trip to the gravel pit wich is 205km away from me.

We found some very nice agates thos are the same type as Montana agates.

I am sorry for this. Here are the photos....

Total we collected about 15kg of material and only 2kg 600 grams worth cutting.

These agates have nice staff inside, like dendrites and red and transperent zones.

Looks lovely! Even the clear stuff without dendrites can be worth cutting--if you get an excellent polish all around they really glow, and the closely-spaced bands give them a hint of something like chatoyance--no eye or anything, just a bit of extra visual interest.

The bands have a slightly different transparency than the agate between them. So as you turn the stone, depending on whether the bands are facing towards you or if you are looking through their side, the level of transparency changes a bit. This is only really obvious if the stone is very well polished, but if it is it really adds to the charm. I had a couple of montana agate cabs for sale on the marketplace a while back which had that kind of look, but they didn't get any interest.

Nice Timur! Thanks for the pics, I love agate especially dendritic and plume agates. Can we have more pics when you have a few worked out, I dig the red streaks.
