Previous experience is not essential.

Must be a misspelling. Hope they mean £1000 a week. Qualified project managers are not possible to hire for 100 a week rather 100 per hour...

Internship... you Swedes pay your interns more? Here in Holland you get zip, perhaps your travel expenses paid for but that'll be it in 99% of the cases...

Differences in lower wages are huge in Great Britain compared to the scandinavian countries.

Many internship's here in the States pay you nothing. It's all about the experience and getting your foot in the door. Many internship's here are a way for you to get hired by the company you are interning at.

Obviously... People must be rich in GB and USA. I could never afford to do anything without payment... #-o

Not so in California.
Internships must pay minimum wage, which in CA is $8./hour and 1.5X for overtime; the exception is San Francisco Bay Area which has a minimum wage of $10.25 per hour.

That is understandable.
California is like it's own other country out there. 8)
