Career Opportunity

Position available in a small pearl company with a large national reach.
Sea Hunt Pearls is a widely known pearl wholesaler with a reputation for
always being on the leading of developments and trends in the world of pearls. The company has a strong presence at the two larger trade shows in the country, Tucson and Las Vegas, both with the AGTA.

This is an exciting opportunity for a person with experience in the jewelry industry that would like to take it further and learn the workings of the wholesale side of the industry. We are a two person office with larger staff for trade shows. This position will have you working side by side with the owner of the company doing all the things make make a company run. Dealing with customers, sales, organizing trade show logistics and working the shows, working with the merchandise and helping with marketing are all part of the job.

We require a self motivated individual capable of learning and also bringing new ideas to the table. We have a lot to teach to the right person and want someone that also brings a lot to the table.

Job requirements are:
~Some pearl and or gemological knowledge
~computer skills, especially in Apple products
~Organized and self motivated
~Quickbooks or other inventory/ accounting programs (this can be taught)
~Basic grasp of photography, for sending of product images and social media
~Attendance at trade shows
~ Must be able to handle heavy weight bags as part of show set up

~Sales and people skills
~Honesty and integrity
