Sounds like a great deal.... Do a little research on the shipping, and let me know. There is a special phrase used to describe such shipments to keep the price down. Does anyone remember what that is?

I don't know what you call "good steel", but files are usually assumed to be 6.5, though I've seen listings for "hardened steel files" at 7. Neither is hard enough to identify quartz.
