Check out the great red beryl deals on natural red beryl. Bunch of Indian sellers are selling for less than a buck/ct. Some very sharp US buyers are grabbing these stones and reselling right back on eBay. The 24 ct. stone on there now has a buy now price of $15,000 with a make an offer option. I just made a 3 dollar offer on the stone. Of course a typical Nicky Newark message went in with the offer. :D

These E bay scammers don't like to be challenged. He told me that purchased the rough on a trip to the Wah Wah mountains and cut the stone himself. I told him to read his own item description that states the stone was cut and polished in India. I also pointed out to him under Ebay -Red beryl there are many Indian sellers selling that quality stone ( for a few bucks/ct.)with the same phony AGSL report that he has. (initials almost sold like a legitimate lab). If anyone has a chance, click on the link and look at the sellers other items for sale. The fracture filled Alex. for 25K is a real beauty. He told me to never contact him again. There are thousands just like him on eBay. This has to be hard for any legitimate gem dealers the sell stones for a living.

It's a new venue but the same old crap as always. There are great deals to be had in any open marketplace like eBay, just as there are inherent risks even for a wary and experienced buyer.
