Whats Up!! From Idaho...... Just began to facet and I am a rockhound for life. Excellent forums Im learning alot.... Hope to get some pictures up soon of some Oregon Sunstone ive cut...... Thanks for letting me be a part of this

Welcome Mad! Go locale you live for materials too!!! Spencer Opal is from Idaho if my memory holds, so nice stuff! Lots of garnets, and some, while dark, can still yield some amazing faceting stones! Not to mention star garnets for cabs! Some nice agates and jaspers as well! Even some opalized wood there! Not to mention T-Eggs!!!! Not to mention rubies and sapphires, so I have read and hear, never seen them first hand though, but supposedly some nice reds if you can find them! Even amethyst and lots of fossils!! And the best of all, you can find some facet grade blue opals!
