Thought I would post a quick hello message. Not sure what the magic number is so all of my posts don't need to be approved before being shown.

I recently attended an intro to faceting class put on by the Midwest Faceters Guild. Instantly became hooked and started looking for a machine. I purchased a used Raytech Shaw, but that turned out to be a bad idea so I'm sticking to getting a new machine. I'm in the "second guessing" phase right now so it might be a while before I actually get something.

I'm glad I found this site and want to thank everyone in advance for all of their knowledge.

Just out of curiosity, what is wrong with the Raytech?

There is nothing wrong with Raytech as a company. There was everything wrong with this particular Raytech I bought. It was a pile of garbage passed off as "almost new". I could've replaced all the bad parts but I would've spent more than just buying a new one.
