These drawings are amazing. Being in the gem fields of Africa and Asia since the mid 1970s the images feel almost like I lived them. Still not that different in areas where new deposits are found, and the local community has no knowledge of gems, or mining. I love that initial time of discovery.

The far North of Ethiopia in late 2015 and early 2016 was my latest such experience. That area is almost biblical in look and vibe. Pure magic.
