Dear all,
some interesting research pdfs can also be found on the "News from the research" page of www.gia.edu
Besides the pdf already available on the Bangkok website, you will also find pdf from GIA researcher working in New York and Carlsbad.

The most recent pdf is a very interesting study about a treated red diamond:
"Treated Fancy Red Diamond" by Paul Johnson and Christopher M. Breeding:

http://www.gia.edu/research-resources/news-from-research/red_treated_diamond.pdf

The other recent pdf is a great study by John Koivula:
"Micro-Magma Chambers in Natural Rubies and Sapphires: The Behavior of Some Mineral Inclusions in Corundum At High Temperatures":

http://www.gia.edu/research-resources/news-from-research/micro-magma-corundum.pdf

Very informative!

There are also many other older files that I invite you to discover on the "News of the Research" page following this link:

All the best,
