Post subject: Iron-oxide stained white quartz w/ some sprouting growth

I got some of my specimens cleaned from the DH machine dig. The amethyst and others are soaking in acid as we speak. These are just regular iron-stained white quartz we pulled from a vein. Normally you use acid to clean stains off but when they look this good you don't. I used to throw these away by the bucketful in the search for amethyst and smoky quartz. Boy was that stupid.
