Dug this up last week too...it appears to be a crystal that broke off from where it grew and stuck to this conglomerate of fragments that were at the bottom of the pocket. It holds together quite well but pieces come off here and there. I seem to have gotten it down to a pretty solid piece

Pulled out some gemmy clusters as well ...not big by any means but who can complain when your quartz spot is a mile away from your house as the crow flies....
