 Post subject: Seeking opinion about this specimen

Its weight is about 52.30 Ct. and Specific Gravity is 2.61
All of the sides of this stone seems opaque except the one shown in the 2nd photo(which is translucent ) but light of torch can be seen through them. So let me know the opinion of experts about this specimen.

It appears to be a lovely agate. The host rock is probably basalt--it's very typical for agates to grow in basaltic vesicles. That's just a guess but probably a pretty solid one.

It's hard to say for sure based on the photo, but it does look like you've got green plumes or tufts in it, so probably.
