I was sent these pictures of a rock which was found at South Umpqua River in Myrtle Creek, Oregon.
I thought I'd post them to get some thoughts from all of you. So, what do you think?

Brecciated jasp-agate. Typical kind of material for the area, I would think. All sorts of agates and jaspers come out of there.

Seems like a little drusy business on the left hand side. What do you make of the green? Odd color for jasper.

Pockets of drusy like that are a pretty typical feature for jaspers or agates. If you can artfully compose them in a cabochon they're nice, but they're can be a bad sign for the solidity of the rough.
The green is rather intriguing, though not unheard of. I would say I'm pretty sure the rock is mostly chalcedony of one sort or other but of course I can't be sure. Just a contextual and educated guess.

And here I was doing a good job of keeping my Inside Voice inside, as it was saying, "some kinda jasper/agate with some kinda copper action in there."

I guess my Inner Smartass wasn't terribly far off the mark.

Cool! I had some brain flatulence--that's a nickel green, not a copper green

I'm thinking the brownish golden tone is the result of copper, not the green, IMO.
