It's a light pale/clear green color,heavy, and I believe it's between 5-7 on the hardness scale,scratches glass and it can be scratched by Quartz. Could very well be glass but we're not sure,it was found in Missouri. I couldn't upload the photos to this site but my photobucket link is below. Any ideas are greatly appreciated
I'm afraid slag glass is about the only possibility with that size, clarity, color and perfect conchoidal fracture. Look inside for spherical bubbles which will put the last nail in the coffin. It's a nice find and a little piece of industrial history, but not worth much of anything.
