So I've been away from the site for some time. Life has happened. Though I started here because I needed, and found, a resource for teaching myself to facet, I reached a point where I could not bring myself to facet. However just because I wasn't making gemstones doesn't mean I had nothing to do with rocks. Indeed I've pursued sculpting rocks. With this post should be a marble piece I sold last year. I'm glad to be back and I will hopefully be active in the community once more. I've also gotten past the mental blocks I had with the faceting, and have returned to my machine. As northern weather begins to threaten snow, leading me away from the outdoors, I look forward to more time at the lapidary wheel.

Thanks for the kind words. Here's another piece to share. (I have almost literally a ton of white Georgia marble to play with). I had to try and capture those striations in the Marble.
