I would have posted these under my other rutile thread but since B added this new header....I kept these in hydrochloric acid for 1 month longer than the other because I knew they would be better..just pulled them out last night

The luster on this nicely formed one is about as good as you can get...

This one..the luster is tarnished in places but this one has excellent crystal form and has one major contact point on one face and the bottom too..nicely terminated

wow, you kept them in hydrochloric acid for a month, amguy? (i'd forgotten about them by then) they are nice and shiny. especially the first one, which has a nice reflection of your fingers in the picture. :wink:
