Not wanting to be dismissing your comment, but then he would be doing the research for you. Like you said, "Hey sure... would do that."

Also, on my list of freely available G&G links, here you will find a link to John Koivula's tutorial on MicroPhotography:
http://www.gemologyonline.com/Forum/php ... php?t=8694

There are almost 90,000 article available on this forum currently. Both Gingerkid and I had to spend a little time searching to find these links for you....
One can usually find something about most gem topics with a little patience and reasonable effort. :D

Hello Vismay Zaveri,

You have verygood photographs, can you please tell me the method of the photography as i need to use it on a project and submit in my institute.
Please let me know in details if possible, like which camera, lens, lightings, softboxes or anything else used.
It would be great if you could help me out.

And by checking your website i saw that you are also from Mumbai, and me too.

Thanks

Here is a super tutorial here on the forums by Gary Braun of Finewater Gems. Short, too the point and effective. This will get you started. Of course there is always Scovil's "Photographing Minerals, Fossils, and Lapidary Materials"....

Good luck,
