Interesting tip with that white board to reflect ligh to the stone, wonder if it would work with opal...theoretically it should, gonna test it :)

I remember one of my first attempt to get a decent pic of gems was cutting a hole on the bottom of a plastic coffee cup and fit my camera objective in it. The supercheapus dome... :lol:
(then, making the device to keep my stone vertical was (a little) more work..)
