If we are dealing with a biblic stone, maybe in time this piece of glass will miraculously turn into a natural stone, like water into wine in the wedding feast at Cana !

Do you want some news ? The jeweler decided to set the stone and deliver the ring without saying anything to her client.
That might come back to bite him on the ass some day - guess he was too worried about her reaction to tell her the truth?
Would be understandable - a jeweller friend of mine ended up in a heated argument with a customer (my former land lady actually ) over a ring that she bought on ebay and wanted modifications made to. Supposedly 18 karat gold I thought - it turned out to be something else entirely and when the jeweller delivered the news, she was not pleased and not ready to admit that she had been taken when buying online.

Yes probably - and as he had already made the setting, with much gold and many diamonds, he was probably afraid too that she wouldn't want it nor pay for it..
