Asassinated by spinel, that's harsh treatment!

I've never yet faceted any peridot but some of it is beautiful.

There's a good deposit of it in the north of my state but I'll never get the chance to visit - some COMPLETE JERK was fossicking there, tripped over and injured themselves due to not looking where they were putting their stupid feet - and decided it was all the property owners fault and sued them. The property owner then withdrew permission for the public to come and dig.

RIP Chudleigh Park diggings - asassinated by people's failure to accept responsability for their own actions :(

Very possibly! Mobile phones are a major distraction.
