Hi,
My first post on this exciting forum!
May be someone could help me clarifying 2 points on star rubies.
1) how do we tell a rough ruby is a potential candidate for asterism? I know of the higher rutile lines presence, but visually how high do we mean?
2) how does the cabochon needs be created to let th asterism appear?

Thank you!
