 Post subject: Large, rough emeralds from old Swat mines

Swat is famous for its mines from where emeralds are mined. One of the oldest ones, and quiet famous, is known as the Shamozo mine. Few days ago, I came across large rough specimens from these mines. They were with a seller who wanted to dispose off of gemstones since his father used to deal in it, and now he's dead. Honestly, haven't seen such a large rough emerald specimen from Shamozo mine. If you look carefully (last 2 pictures), the emerald formation goes all the way back to the end of the stone. The 5 pieces in the top pic are above 60 carat

Interesting, but unfortunately not gem quality, only for specimens.

Yes. They are not gem quality; just for showcasing, at most.
