Did you read any of the articles I linked to? All had examples of fine ruby color.
Hi Thanks a lot. However, I still do not get the concept of "Red without modifiers" (like the one in Gemewizard). Correct me if I am wrong, but I think all these rubies in your examples does have a strong modifier. The 1st ruby: looks like red with purple as modifier. The 2nd ruby: 4 rubies are red with purple as modifier, and the largest one is red with orange as modifier. The 3rd ruby: red with both purple and orange as modifier. The 4th ruby: red with purple as modifier.
I recalled visiting a gemstone museum in DC last year, all rubies there also have a modifier of either purple or orange. is there something wrong with my eye?

I agree with Barbra, and if you used the actual app you will see that what your stating is not actually what it is. The bottom two samples are red with leaning toward a orange. The first sample stone bottom left column above the bottom row is red with no orange or purple, then those above are leaning into purple. when you select that sample you will be presented with screen to selection a tone and saturation value for red only. Get the app! It is a valuable tool.
