Post subject: 2013 Tucson Seminars provided by AGTA

Today, in an email conversation, it became clear that the seminars conducted and promoted by AGTA during the show week have not been publicized as being available to general show participants (as in non-AGTA members) of the Tucson shows.
There are currently about 350 Firm Members of AGTA. They are usually working their booths, or working the shows somewhere. Then, there are roughly 750 Retailer Members who have an AGTA membership, but are involved in the retail sector. They may, or may not, make it to Tucson each year.
By my count, there are at least 34 seminars sponsored by AGTA that are open and free of charge [with more than ample seating]. The seminars are spread over 4 days, and they cover a wide range of topics – and most of them are geared to improving or enhancing the operation of retailers’ businesses.
That being said, some of the seminars will benefit those just entering (or wanting to enter) the jewelry trade. You can see for yourself by reviewing all the seminars (free or fee-based) here:
