Hey everyone, I hope this is OK--just a thread for cool things people happen to see while out and about. There's always much more to see than to buy. I'll start with the world of topaz, with bad pictures:
The finest Imperial topaz from Zambia I've ever seen (labelled as Congolese since that's where it was initially said to be from--it's near the border anyway).
A nice peachy Tribute Pocket topaz. Gorgeous color and nice etching.
The finest purple topaz I've ever seen. Amazing color with a great termination, and pretty big.
These are odd. They are allegedly from Tajikistan from a Russian seller. Colorless but with perfect Imperial crystal form. Odd thing--half of the topaz in the parcel he was selling were obviously from Utah, with crystal form and rhyolite inclusions. But these other ones are unknown to me, so I guess they could be from Tajik like he said.
