A few questions regarding the cheap sieves on the market:
In general,
Are the hole diameters of acceptable accuracy & properly deburred?
Are the plates sufficiently thick to withstand hard use?
Are the housings suitably functional?
This is for a one time use, involving several thousand carats of melee. It would be great to get by without having to pay for a set of European sieves.
Any input from people with experience using the low cost sieves will be much appreciated.
